Before founding Nelson Parker in 2007 she worked in-house for Courtaulds Coatings, Bass, Tertio Limited, an IT and Telecommunications business to business organisation, and Serco, a key government provider.
Prior to her PR career she studied a degree in Chemistry and French at the University of Surrey and the École Haute of Chemistry at Strasbourg, École européenne des hautes études des industries chimiques de Strasbourg, completing her transition to PR with the Chartered Institute of Public Relations Diploma.
She retains her passion for science and technology, specialising in IT and Technology PR and strategic advice to SMEs to align their PR with their business strategy.
Katherine’s experience spans across the UK, Europe and the United States and she is fluent in both English and French.
She is an Accredited Practitioner of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) and sits on the Midlands CIPR Committee. She has formerly held various positions including Chair on the CIPR Wessex Committee.
